Extension to Doncaster Property

An existing detached property comprising a double storey dwelling and adjacent bungalow within large grounds. The property was purchased for adaptation to meet the needs of a disabled person, their care team, and family.

JHA Architecture were appointed as Lead Consultant for project and undertook the following services: Architectural Design including coordination of specialist consultants within the design team, Principal Designer role under the CDM Regulations 2015, Construction Monitoring during the works on site, and full Contract Administration services to completion.

The project involved a major overhaul of the existing property both internally and externally, together with a large single storey extension to form a dedicated wing for the disabled person’s accommodation. The dwelling now benefits from specialist bedroom and bathroom facilities, therapy and sensory rooms, separate kitchen facilities, and large level access terraces to the front and rear.
